The Solar Eclipse| Photography Update

Got a few things to say before I hop in.

  1. I’m out of storage on Lucillian Photography so I’ll post a few photos of my photography ON HERE on occasion.ย
  2. I am in a happy mood right now so I will be showing it. ๐Ÿ˜†
  3. I took a three week break where I took 0 photos. But I now am on the photo run again.
  4. I’m sorry for not being regular in my posting. School and guests have kept me busy and while I love blogging—life is my priority โค .ย

That said…this is technically a photography post. I had no intention of photographing the solar eclipse AT ALL. I didn’t have a camera filter for it…and I just figured I wouldn’t bother.

But tbh…I have discovered I am most content experiencing things through my camera lens. I looked at the eclipse through glasses then made my choice.

If I didn’t have a filter for my lens…that WHAT was I thinking? At the last moment I made a messy filter out of my eclipse glasses. I figured if it’s safe for my eyes, then the camera lens can take it, too.

And I am happy I tried. If it wasn’t so fast I think I could’ve done better. ๐Ÿ˜‰

And then two photos I just took in RAW. (look that up if you don’t know what it means! ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I am planning to do a longer post on Beauty in Simplicity soon of a bunch more photos I took in RAW. Switch anyone? I think so.

Oh, and this lily I photographed a little while ago. It really fits the ‘neutrals with a pop of color’ theme, doesn’t it?

  1. The solar eclipse was pretty cool! ๐Ÿ™‚ I took some pictures with the glasses over my camera lens too. ;P I’m doing a solar eclipse post tomorrow.
I love the picture of the pink flowers!
