Travel 10/7-8 | Parts 6 & 7 | The End

Oh wow!

I just realized that it’s been exactly a week since my last post on here. πŸ˜€ I think it’s time to finish this vacation series at long last. As promised, I’ll just lump all the rest of the photos into one post. We’ll categorize it as Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday

Early in the morning we decided to go to Walmart after breakfast, to get some food for the return trip.

And then we were due to head over to Barnes and Noble {my favorite store EVAH} because dad planned for each kid to have a date with him to chat during out vacation.

{I fall over dead when I see all these books. I love them SO SO much! Well, not these exact books but books…right?}
And they had a sales bin right by the Starbucks part of the store…
And guys…I had my first PSL {pumpkin spice latte}. And while it WAS good, it wasn’t my favorite ever. I think it’s a little bit overrated. πŸ˜‰
{don’t murder me if you think different, I wanna’ live!}
And we met for about an hour, just dad and I. And then H, mom, and Ellie showed up and H and I swapped. And I went looking for a book that I got to beta read and that was supposed to be released. I wanted to take a picture with it…but unfortunately it hadn’t quite hit the store at this point. {bummer}
So then I went and looked at the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child book {er, play!}. It had a splendiferous hard cover. Very impressive…here, I’ll show you.

In real life the book is more gold and you can feel the texture of the picture and whatnot {which I’m obviously a fan of}. As to the book, I can’t tell you if it’s worth reading or not {AS I ONLY LOOKED AT IT. THERE WAS NO TIME FOR READING πŸ˜₯ }.
And then in my walking-around-barnes-and-noble-funΒ I came across a nice rack of boogie boards and wrote ‘hey’ on every single one of them. So if you go to the J.C Barnes and Noble and see this….{yeah, it was me.}
Then it was finally time to go {not that I really wanted to leave or anything} to…
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
Pizza hut!
{because they now have gluten free pizza, and yes, we have to eat gluten free. It’s really not that bad!}

And we ate pizza…then went home.
And so ended the phenomenon known as Saturday…{it rained}

Sunday

We attended another church close to where we were vacationing in the morning and then we started driving towards another church in Knoxville which we were going to visit. But…my older brother {who wasn’t on vacation with us due to work} got in a car wreck on the way to the same church we were heading for. So we had to pick him up. And it was raining. It was sort of a little miserable. But I was happy that we were almost home, and that no one was hurt in the wreck. Plus, the morning sermon we attended was really good…very convicting and encouraging.

And then we drove home…and another day ended.
I hope you enjoyed this series…I will do another whenever we go on vacation next. But now it’s finally over {at long last} and I can return to normal posting. Trouble is, my life has been busier than usual recently so it’s harder to get to posting. But I love blogging and I wouldn’t give it up anyhow πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜† .

  1. *Sniff* The end of the vacation series. 😦 πŸ˜‰ I really enjoyed these posts, Emmaline! Also, I LOVE the pictures of the raindrops on the window, and I’m sorry your brother got in a car crash. O.o And yes, books are… amazing. AMAZING!

  2. Haha yes, we had a vacation backfire. Back in February we were supposed to go to the Thomas’s before meeting our Grandparents in Sun Valley, Idaho…but we got snowed in in Whitefish, Montana. So ya, no Thomas’s. Haha! But we still had a blast in Montana.

    But I loved these posts! β™₯️
