NOTE: THIS IS POSTED A DAY LATE SO THIS IS A DAY IN THE LIFE POST FROM YESTERDAY (OR AUGUST THE 31ST) JUST TO BE CLEAR. ❤
Got a few things to say before I hop in.
- I’m out of storage on Lucillian Photography so I’ll post a few photos of my photography ON HERE on occasion.
- I am in a happy mood right now so I will be showing it. 😆
- I took a three week break where I took 0 photos. But I now am on the photo run again.
- I’m sorry for not being regular in my posting. School and guests have kept me busy and while I love blogging—life is my priority ❤ .
So…I haven’t done this in a while (I got lazy).
But there is a new post on Lucillian Photography. And it’s the first of it’s kind. So…if you want to see it…you should click here.
It will hopefully show you some strong lighting that features five stages of the day.
Day, Golden Hour (2nd), Twilight, Sunset, and Night.
p.s. If you look at the post there’s a surprise at the end of it 😀 .
Oh yeah, another post…
Brand new post on Lucillian Photography! If you haven’t already seen it–check it out if you’d like here.
Welcome to PART FOUR!!!
I’ll just start off this post with a nice, relaxed photo of the room where a bunch of us stayed…
Then we picked up Uncle Adam and went to Steel Creek Park to do the ‘roosters front’ hike, which is just a nice, little 20 minute hike.
NOTE: It turns out I got a little confused. There will only be FIVE parts to this post series. There isn’t a part six! Sorry for the confusion. Part five will have the last few photos in it, and also a mini recap of our vacation week in it. There will also be a few photos from around the week that weren’t posted before. Thanks for bearing with me.
I feel for y’all right now.
I am such a bad girl. I am literally promising y’all that this is the LAST post until I return from vacation. This is the end! 🙂
But anyways, I did a short (and not necessarily successful) anniversary photo shoot with Mom and Dad today. They will be celebrating 21 years this December.
Side announcement: I will be using TWO cameras on my vacation (hopefully). A dear friend is letting me borrow indefinitely her camera. Her camera is better than mine (uh-hem–my sister’s) although not drastically so. I am hoping to be able to get better lake shots with it than mine would take. And panoramas! I LOVE panoramas, but mine doesn’t have that setting on it. 😦
Enough of that ramble. If you want to check out the post click here.
Check the post out here.
I am actually going on vacation…tomorrow. This is a heads up that there’s a new post on Lucillian Photography called the Open Fields of Grace. Check it out here.
I have done this before, but it was many years ago. I have a photography website! I wanted more organization, and less clutter on this blog. So I have a new website. I have been tinkering with the design of the site, and have finally reached a semi-shade of normalcy. If you want to visit Lucillian Photography (yes, that’s its name 🙂 ) you can click HERE.
What do I mean by ‘more organization’? Well, on here–yes I have categories. But…I just love the fact that you can go on my other website and look at a special page for a certain genre of photography. It’s really handy. AND there’s the added bonus of using slideshows instead of individual images. 🙂 I like slideshows.
So, what should you do if you’re following this blog and enjoy seeing my (feeble) photography attempts? One of two things:
- You can go visit my blog (Lucillian Photography) and follow it. OR…
- You can just get the posts on this website announcing new photo shoots and THEN go check it out without following the blog. (I will be posting photography updates, without the actual photos on this blog. And I will also be providing the link to the posts in the posts here.)
And that’s my first attempt at a logo. I like it for now, and think it’ll fit the bill for right now. Thank you all for being so encouraging and thoughtful in your interest in my photography thus far. If I ever actually make it to photographer status, I will always appreciate the feedback I recieved early on (now 🙂 ).
